ISRO is currently accepting applications from students in grades 8-12 for a virtual quiz competition that is being organized as part of World Space Week. The competition is run by ISRO centers, the Vikram Sarabhai Space Center, the Liquid Propulsion Systems Center and the ISRO Inertial Systems Unit. Interested students can register for the competition free of charge; participation is only possible individually.
The theme of the questionnaire program will be "Space". Confirmation of the participant takes place after checking the authorization letter of the institute director, incorrect or incomplete entries can be removed, according to the official website.
The questionnaire competition takes place in three rounds, which include preliminary rounds, semifinals, and finals.The preliminary rounds will contain multiple-choice questions and the best 32 participants in the preliminary rounds qualify for the semifinals, the two best of each semifinals advance to the final and a total of 8 Entrants compete for first place up to the WebEx platform: All entrants receive electronic certificates via registered Gmail IDs, and the winners of the final receive exciting prizes.
Interested students should be aware of the following important guidelines regarding the ISRO Testing Competition: Schools must designate a faculty as the coordinator for registration and communication, and only the identified faculty coordinator can register students for the event. Each school can nominate up to 10 students. The competition is aimed at individual students. Participating students need a Gmail ID and a mobile phone number in order to take part in the ISRO quiz competition.
Interested students must register before September 28, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. IST. A scanned copy of the authorization letter, duly signed by the director of the facility or the faculty coordinator, must also be submitted.
